About Us
VEL Academy (, Estonia) owns and operates VEL Academy — an online professional education platform for nail technicians and beauty professionals, accessible at vel.academy.
References to "VEL Academy", "we", "us", or "our" in these Terms refer to VEL Academy. References to "you" or "your" refer to the individual accessing or using our platform.
Eligibility
To use VEL Academy you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction if higher
- Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract
- Not be prohibited from receiving our services under applicable law
By using our platform, you represent and warrant that you meet all eligibility requirements. If you are purchasing on behalf of a company or organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
Accounts
To access purchased courses you must register an account on vel.academy. When creating your account you agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information
- Keep your login credentials confidential and not share them with others
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account at info@vel.academy
- Use the same email address you used at the time of payment — access is granted to that email only
Each account is for a single individual. You may not share, sell, or transfer your account or course access to any third party. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts found to be in violation of these Terms.
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
Courses & Access
Upon successful payment you receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and view the purchased course content for your own professional development.
Lifetime Access
Unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase, access to your course is granted on a lifetime basis — meaning for as long as VEL Academy continues to operate and make the course available on its platform.
We reserve the right to update, modify, or remove individual lessons or materials as part of our ongoing content improvement. We will use reasonable efforts to notify enrolled students of significant changes.
Course content is delivered via the vel.academy platform. Access is typically activated within 12 hours of confirmed payment. You will receive an email notification once access is live.
Certificates of completion are available to students who have completed 100% of the course modules. Certificates are not issued automatically — to receive yours, please send a request to info@vel.academy after finishing all lessons.
Payments & Pricing
All prices are displayed in US dollars (USD) and are inclusive of any applicable fees unless stated otherwise. Prices are subject to change without notice; the price you pay is the one displayed at the time of your purchase.
Payments are processed securely via Digistore24. We do not store your payment card details. The charge on your statement will appear as Digistore24.com.

If a payment fails or is reversed, access to the relevant course will be suspended until the payment is resolved.
Refund Policy
Right of Withdrawal — European Union (14 days statutory)
If you are a consumer in the European Union or European Economic Area, you have a statutory right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 calendar days from the date of the transaction, in accordance with EU Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU, without giving any reason.
However, by proceeding with enrollment you explicitly consent to immediate access to the digital course content and acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once you begin accessing the course, in accordance with Article 16(m) of the Directive.
If you have not yet accessed any course content, you retain the full 14-day statutory withdrawal right. VEL Academy additionally offers a voluntary 60-day satisfaction guarantee for EU customers.
Refund Policy — United States & All Other Countries
We offer a 60-day satisfaction guarantee from the date of payment. If you are not satisfied for any reason within this period, you may request a full refund — no questions asked.
To request a refund, contact us at info@vel.academy with the subject line "Refund Request" and include your order details. Refunds are processed via Digistore24 and typically appear within 3–5 business days.
Refunds will not be issued outside the applicable window. Refunds for the Complete Bundle apply to the bundle as a whole.
Intellectual Property
All content on vel.academy — including but not limited to course videos, lesson materials, techniques demonstrated, written guides, images, logos, and the VEL Academy brand — is the exclusive intellectual property of VEL Academy and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable laws.
Your purchase grants you a personal licence to watch and use the course content for your own professional development only. You may not:
- Download, copy, reproduce, or redistribute any course videos or materials
- Share your login credentials or grant access to others
- Re-sell, sublicense, or commercially exploit any part of the course content
- Use VEL Academy content to create competing educational products
- Record screen captures or re-upload content to any platform
- Remove or alter any copyright notices or watermarks
Unauthorised use of our intellectual property may result in immediate account termination and legal action.
Prohibited Use
When using vel.academy, you agree not to:
- Use the platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of our platform or systems
- Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or any harmful code
- Harass, abuse, or harm other users or our staff
- Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation
- Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to extract content
- Interfere with the integrity or performance of the platform
We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate your account without refund if you engage in any prohibited conduct.
Disclaimer of Warranties
VEL Academy courses are provided for educational and professional development purposes only. Results will vary based on individual skill level, practice, and experience.
We do not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from viruses or other harmful components.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, VEL Academy, its directors, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any:
- Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
- Loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities
- Damages arising from your reliance on course content
- Technical failures, downtime, or service interruptions
Our total cumulative liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific course giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by applicable law. Any unresolved dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts.
EU consumers may also use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
For US users, nothing in these Terms affects rights under applicable federal or state consumer protection laws.
Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. For material changes, we will notify you by email or by posting a prominent notice on vel.academy at least 14 days before the changes take effect.
