How responsibility is shared
Training is video-based — so we're upfront about what that does and doesn't cover.
VEL ACADEMY PROVIDES

- A readiness assessment tool (exam / checklist)
- Support for questions that come up during training
- Additional material when a real gap in the course is identified
THE SALON IS RESPONSIBLE FOR
- Deciding when a specific technician is ready to work on real clients — video cannot monitor pressure on the handpiece, tool angle, or the precision of the line between dead and living tissue in real time
- Practice on models before a technician is cleared for clients
- In-house supervision, where required by internal standards
- Outcomes where a technician was put in front of clients before they were sufficiently trained
Video training covers theory, technique demonstration, and self-paced learning well — particularly for licensed technicians adding a new skill. It doesn't replace live supervision for fine motor control. We'd rather be upfront about that than promise video replaces hands-on practice.

Retail price of the Complete Bundle is $311.99. Group pricing runs above retail — it includes student Q&A support and supplemental materials even at the base license tier.
